Circles

by Deborah Karen Tash on July 10, 2012

Pushing through the barrier
The shelled egg
A cocoon’s final stages
My own invented glass ceiling
Another birth into expanding Self

This part can only be done alone
But the threads of connection
Support with an interweaving
Of hands, hearts, voices
Whose echoes encourage and strengthen

In the hours alone
When integration continues
Chasing out the demons of fear
Breaking out of the shell
I feel the presence of the circles

So like a sheltering pair of cupped hands
The circles of women intersect
Gathering the power of spiritual evolution
To create a tapestry of renewal
As each one grows
